Town Beautification Fund Applications Now Open
The District Council of Elliston is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the Town Beautification Fund, a new initiative designed to support community-led projects that enhance the appearance, amenity and identity of townships across the district.
Council has allocated $50,000 each financial year to the Fund, with funding available for one or more successful projects that deliver lasting improvements to public places and community infrastructure. Projects may include landscaping, streetscape enhancements, public artwork, visitor infrastructure, town entrance statements, community seating, heritage signage and other initiatives that contribute to creating vibrant, welcoming communities.
Applications are invited from incorporated not-for-profit organisations operating within the District Council of Elliston, including Progress Associations, Community Associations, Sporting and Recreation Clubs, Service Clubs, Volunteer Organisations and Community Committees. Organisations that are not incorporated may apply through an incorporated auspicing organisation.

Applications will be assessed against the objectives and assessment criteria outlined in the Town Beautification Fund Guidelines, with successful projects demonstrating strong community benefit, value for money and alignment with the Fund's objectives.
Community organisations are encouraged to discuss their project ideas with Council before submitting an application. Council staff are available to provide advice throughout the application process.
