Pursuant to section 249(7) of the Local Government Act 1999 (the Act) public notice is hereby given that, at the Ordinary Meeting of Council held on 18 October 2022 the District Council of Elliston made the following By-Laws in accordance with the powers contained in the Act:
- Permits and Penalties By-Law No. 1 of 2022
- Local Government Land By-Law No. 2 of 2022
- Roads By-Law No. 3 of 2022
- Moveable Signs By-Law No. 4 of 2022
- Dogs By-Law No 5 of 2022
- Caravans and Camping By-Law No. 6 of 2022 and
- Cats By-Law No. 7 of 2022
The By-Laws were published in the South Australian Government Gazette on 27 October 2022 and commenced operation on 27 February 2023.
The Council's Register of By-Laws is available for inspection on the Council's website and a certified copy of a by-law of the Council in force at a particular time can be purchased for a fixed fee at the Council office.
