Community Grants

Council's adopted Community Grants Policy provides community groups with the opportunity to apply for financial assistance throughout the financial year.
It is anticpated that this process will assist Council in supporting a range of projects and activities based on their ability to enhance the quality of life, deliver services and provide facilities to the community.
All applications will be assessed against the criteria and conditions set out in the Community Grants Policy and considered at Council’s Ordinary Council Meetings.

Groups and individuals are able to meet with a Council Officer to discuss and receive assistance with their application prior to submission strictly by appointment only.

Shopfront Improvement Program Grants

Council is offering businesses the opportunity to apply for a Shopfront Improvement Program grant which is aimed at assisting businesses to undertake improvements to building facades.

The grant is available on a $1.1 basis up to $2,000 with the aim of encouraging businesses to improve the presentation of towns and streetscapes in the District Council of Elliston.
