Born at Wudinna, lived at Minnipa on a farm. When I left school I worked at the State Bank in Minnipa. 1981 married my husband Clive Matthews from Koongawa and lived on the family farm. Had 2 children, Rennae and Jason. Made a major move in 2006 as we purchased the Elliston Supermarket that our son and his fiancé now manage. Semi- retired and have been living in Venus Bay for the past 8 years. I have served in multiple sporting clubs and have had the honour of being a life member for Mid-West Netball Association, Central Eyre Netball Club and Koongawa Tennis Club. I am currently in my second year as President for the Kenny Venus Progress Association and loving it. I am very passionate about our community and as there has been no representative from this area for several years, I would like to have the opportunity to be part of a council to work together for alI the community. I am open minded and approachable.
