A police officer of 35 years, currently stationed at Elliston for a second time, I am a ratepayer with plans to eventually retire and live in Elliston. Growing up on a farm near Lock and still having family and friends in the area gives me a strong understanding of local issues within the communities in the council district and I am committed to environmentally sustainable development within the ward, as well as maintaining and improving local infrastructure. I have always been active within the communities that I have lived having previously held positions on school councils and local sporting groups. I bring over 30 years experience working with and often coordinating government agencies and emergency services groups. I will be an enthusiastic, strategic and approachable member of council if elected. I live in the Ward. I am not a member of a political party.
