Town Beautification Fund – Applications Extended
Community organisations across the District Council of Elliston now have additional time to apply for funding through Council’s Town Beautification Fund.
The application period has been extended, with the new closing date now 5.00pm on Monday, 28 September 2026.
The Fund has been established to support community-led projects that create lasting improvements to public spaces, strengthen local identity and enhance the appearance and amenity of townships across the district. Council has allocated $50,000 each financial year, with funding available for one or more eligible projects that deliver long-term benefits to the community.
Eligible projects may include landscaping, streetscape enhancements, public artwork, visitor infrastructure, town entrance statements, community seating, heritage signage and other initiatives that contribute to vibrant, welcoming communities. Incorporated not-for-profit organisations operating within the District Council of Elliston are encouraged to apply.
Applications opened on 27 July 2026 and will now close at 5.00pm on Monday, 28 September 2026.
