REFRESHING THE COUNCIL LOGO

At the September 2024 meeting Council agreed upon a logo and public consultation is now being undertaken to receive feedback on the design (depicted below).

This logo is a modern and meaningful representation of the district's unique character. It features a harmonious combination of text and imagery, each element contributing to the overall message. This message represents our vision of Community at Our Heart and our values of honesty, courage and creativity. The logo embodies the pride of place, highlighting the region's agricultural roots and natural beauty. It reinforces a sense of belonging and connection to the land, reflecting the Council's dedication to supporting local industries and preserving the area's heritage. The wheat symbolises agriculture, a significant part of the district’s economy and heritage. The golden colour reflects prosperity, growth, and the importance of farming in the district. The green curves represent the rolling hills and fertile lands of the area, emphasizing the region's natural beauty and agricultural abundance. The blue waves in the design symbolise our communities coastal environment and rich aquacultural diversity. Highlighting the proximity to the ocean and its connection to marine life and water activities. The flowing design of the waves represents movement and vitality, reflective of the community's dynamic nature.

Feedback on the design would be appreciated by 9 October 2024 and can be made via email to dce@elliston.sa.gov.au
