This master plan is a framework to identify infrastructure improvements, public realm enhancements and design solutions that respond directly to feedback and observations captured during the community consultation process for the townships of Venus Bay and Port Kenny.
The master plan aims to strengthen the character and connectivity of both townships, balancing sustainable populations and economic growth with the preservation of residents’ lifestyles, and natural and cultural assets. The master plan outlines pragmatic solutions and outcomes based on community priorities, sound planning principles and a deep understanding of the location and context, including awareness of local challenges including water security and power reliability.
Implementation will be staged over short, medium, and long-term priorities, with high level costings included in the master plan. This master plan is a vital step in ensuring Venus Bay and Port Kenny remain vibrant, sustainable, and attractive places for residents and visitors for years to come.
