The Port Elliston Cemetery is located on the outskirts of Elliston, off Clementina Drive and offers an interesting insight to those early residents in the Elliston township.

Signage at the entrance to the Cemetery, provides a brief synopsis of the lives of two such residents, Mr Arthur Hugh Inkster MP and Dr Abraham Carter.

Council is in the process of installing picket fencing around the Cemetery and our thanks to Nigel and Debbie May and Tony Scott of Scotties Engineering for contributing a replica of the original gate, at the entrance to the Port Elliston Cemetery.
