District Council of Elliston

CWMS Feasibility Study

Council has received funding to investigate whether a Community Wastewater Management System (CWMS) is warranted in the Elliston township.

Representatives from HDS Australia, the company undertaking the feasibility study, will be visiting the town on the week commencing 24 August 2020 and would like to inspect a cross section of on site systems as part of the feasibility investigation.

We ask that any residents experiencing issues with the existing septic tank or soakage trenches on their property notify Council prior to the 24 August and with your approval, HDS will inspect your property. This will help to determine the existing conditions experienced with on-site systems.

Other sites may be visited, so please cooperate with HDS by allowing access to property and restraining pets during their visit. Not all properties will be inspected.

Please note that this investigation is solely designed to determine whether a CWMS is warranted in the Elliston township.
