New Developments

Elliston Coastal Trail Project

Council is seeking specific feedback on the proposed works to be undertaken to develop the Elliston foreshore.

The District Council of Elliston has received grant Funding through the Open Spaces and Places for People Program for $251,143 to assist in undertaking the redevelopment of the very popular and much loved Elliston foreshore.

What Elliston lacks in size it makes up for in natural un-spoilt coastline. It is imperative that Council works together with the community, State and Federal agencies to ensure the coastline is available for the next generation

There are plans for work along the Esplanade to stop sand drift and to undertake re-vegetation as well as road works on the clifftop drives.

Council considers the work along the Elliston foreshore a significant project that will add value to both current and future residents and visitors alike.

Provide your feedback online by filling out a Community Feedback Form. Alternatively, a hard Copy can be found at the Elliston Council office.
